Huge and heartfelt thanks...
Apologies for not being very active on the online side of late, it’s been an incredibly busy year so far! I’d like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to you all for your support, friendship, commitment to your dogs, as well as my school, and your general awesomeness! I was so very grateful and delighted to have been nominated for The Essential Guide’s Shop Local 2018 where the winner was selected for its commitment to delivering excellent customer service and going above and beyond for their clients. Essential Guide were “looking for that extra special something – a local business owner who goes out of their way for their customers, as well as great products and prices – a truly local business” and I was so incredibly proud to have been one of three local businesses who stood out for the judging team. Huge thanks and much love to you all. I’m also incredibly honoured to have been nominated for the 2018 Inspiring Women awards. I didn’t make it to the top 5 shortlist, but just knowing so many nominated is an overwhelming honour. I’ve never seen myself as an inspiration for anything or anyone, so it came as a huge surprise! There are so many inspirational an influential women in my life and I never dreamt someone would see me as I see others. Here at Rixton Dog School we pride ourselves on offering the best service we can in an educational, enjoyable and equitable environment. I do my upmost to ensure your dog gets the best training available and is ready to have a happy, relaxed life with their family. I’m very passionate about what I do and I’m incredibly lucky to be doing a job that I’m so enthusiastic about, a fact that I need to remember more often! 6+ years ago, the thought of standing in front of people and talking would have made anyone who knew me laugh a lot and I would never have believed it possible! I spent 14 years in my previous job with severe anxiety and couldn’t cope speaking with more than 3 people present, let alone speak to people and instruct! But, circumstances change, opportunities arise and I have been blessed with the chance to follow my heart and a career working with dogs, where everything just fell into place and helping people to help their animals just felt natural. I adore all the dogs I work with and feel such an incredible sense of pride seeing them progress. If there was an award for ‘Inspiritional Clients’, each and every one of you who honour me with your presence each week would be winners for sure. Thank you. xxx
